Dr. W.M. Honea • Owner / Partner

Dr. William “Matt” Honea grew up in Haughton, LA, and graduated from Haughton High School. He pursued undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Louisiana Tech University and then received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, Dr.Honea returned to Bossier parish where he joined a busy mixed-animal practice for 4 years. He then took the opportunity to join an equine referral hospital where he served as the primary reproductive veterinarian and gained valuable experience in surgery, internal medicine and critical care over 3.5 years.

Dr. Honea’s interests include soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, preventative medicine and ultrasonography. He strives to provide excellent patient care while making sure pet owners feel informed on all aspects of their pet’s medical care.

Dr. Brent D. Green • Owner / Partner

Dr. Brent D. Green was born and raised in Haughton, LA, and graduated from Haughton High School in 2003. He attended Louisiana Tech in 2008 and went on to pursue a career in human pharmaceuticals for a year and a half down in Baton Rouge. He then decided to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a veterinarian at LSU in 2011. There, he met his wife Dr. Hanna Green and they married in 2015 shortly after graduation. The Greens’ practiced in Baton Rouge for 4 years until they decided to move back home. In 2019 Dr. Green, his wife Dr. Hanna, their son Eli, and the crew of pets left Baton Rouge to move back to North Louisiana. Dr. Brent’s special interests include dentistry, surgery, and dermatology.

In his spare time, Dr. Green enjoys working with his Black Angus cow herd, hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Hanna Green • Veterinarian

Dr. Hanna B. Green is a Baton Rouge native, who attended St. Joseph’s Academy before going to Louisiana State University to pursue her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. She attended the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine where she met her husband, Dr. Brent Green and graduated in 2015. She obtained her CVA (certified veterinary acupuncturist) certification from The Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine in 2015, and has since pursued advanced training in specialized acupuncture techniques as well as some herbal and food therapy training. Her special interests include integrative/eastern medicine, internal medicine and end of life/palliative care. Dr. Hanna and Dr. Brent have a son named Eli, a Boxer named Huey, and two cats Jeter and MoonLight.

Her hobbies include gardening, shopping, and traveling to spend time with her family.

Dr. Carlea Logan • Veterinarian

Dr. Carlea Logan (formerly Clemens) is a native of Blanchard, Louisiana, and graduated from Northwood High School. She then attended Louisiana Tech University where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2019. She developed a love for working with both animals and people through 4H and working at Redeemed Ranch Camp. Continuing to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine, she was accepted into LSU School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2023. While in school, Dr. Carlea developed an interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, and shopping. She values quality time with friends, family, walks with her rescue pittie named Rose, and training her new rescue beagle puppy, Maple.

Dr. Hannah Kennady • Veterinarian

Dr. Hannah Kennady is a lifelong native of South Bossier, LA and graduated from Parkway High School in 2016. She then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she pursued both her undergraduate and doctorate of veterinary medicine, graduating in 2024. She developed her love for animals from her paternal grandfather who could never say no to a stray. While in school, Dr. Kennady developed a passion for dermatology, preventative medicine, animal welfare, and internal medicine. Dr. Kennady has been part of the NAAH family since 2017, where she started out as a kennel and veterinary technician, and now she couldn’t be more excited to be coming back full time as a doctor.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading a good book, running, and tending to her house plants. She is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys watching major league baseball and LSU football. She currently has one dog, a chihuahua mix rescue named Buster.
